having the baby:1

It has been frustrating for my husband and i since we made decision to do the In vitro fertilisation (IVF). For the guy, there is nothing much to deal with to get through the procedure. We started in Feb. 2010, after we had tried on our own for awhile, dint work obviously! We are always in love, we are ready our mind and financially but the more we tried, the more tense we felt.

We went to see the doctor for the 1st time last Feb, i had 10 tubes of blood for the test and i had ultrasound (no.1), my husband had only 1 tube of blood! That is all!. After that 5 days, i had the x-ray (well, i felt like ultrasound so i can claim it was (no.2). The hubby brought in his sample for the test.

The result of this time, we both are healthy. Of course we don't have any risky habit like drinking, smoking or obesity. I m a regularly workout person. We have home cook every meal. I can self proclaim that we have a very healthy meal since we always have organic food as much as possible, wholewheat bread , pasta, brown rice, lot of veggies and fruits.

Then we decided to try on our own since we knew that there is nothing wrong on our health. From Feb. to Sept. 2010 still no baby. We headed to the doctor again to re-start and this time we got to do it right away because i m running out of time. When you turned 40, you know your body has changed a lot and that included your fertility as well.

Another thing we needed to consider was the insurance for the infertility. Prior till then, i was under my husband insurance which is very good one but it didn't cover my infertility because it is under the San Diego regulation. Why? As the company that my husband is working for , head office is settled there, but the branch which he is sitting in Massachusetts.

Thus, i m now under another insurance!!. We got to pay monthly till i get pregnant!

If you don't have money, and time...don't do the IVF. Oh, you have to have your mind set and your physical got to be ready too. I m saying that because you need to pay a visit to your doctor numerous times!!! You need to deal with the pain from blood test, feel awkward from ultrasound then you need to deal with the hormone injection AND the side effect from the medication!!!

Ask yourself if you not ready to deal with these procedure DON'T even think about it!!

For me, i m lucky that i don't have to work full time. My job for now is making myself healthy and make my mind right into it.

Only a few things i need to work on : 1) i can't do my step aerobic class or kick boxing with i love the most 2) i have to sort of cold turkey with the (lovely) coffee from 4 mugs a day to 1 little cup..OMG!!! this is hard on me

Stay tuned for the next cycle is coming up

Crocus is a perennial flowering plant-plant with bulb in fall. One of the first flowers to bloom in spring, it signals the end of winter. (i love snow but I would like to see spring so that why i love crocus).

  • Hyacinths
  • Glory of snow, an early spring flowering, love the cold.

  • Daffodils Narcissus Jet fire

  • Daffodil Narcissus Beautiful Eyes

  • My Tulips

  • Rhododendron

  •  Forsythia

Spring

It is such a good feeling to see all around the house, the street are surrounded by flowers, the buds are starting to grow. How amazing the nature is. I do love the changing of season here. I have no idea how i dint get bore when i was in Thailand which the weather is same old all year round. Back here in Massachusetts, right away after the snow had gone, the first flowers would come without wasted their time at all are Crocus,The glory of snow, Forsythia, Daffodils and Tulips.

Month after month, the flowers are come and gone. There are different flowers each month. You have to enjoy while they are blooming, has to be at the right time then you can see a right and bright color. After their time have finished, the flowers will be gone and the leave would replaced.

Another thing you would see in spring to summer is mowing the lawn. We live here has a quite big lawn. Before that we had a pushing lawn mower, it took very long to finish. Then early of this spring, we got a new riding mower. You can see your neighbors mow their lawn and that push you to mow yours too. You don't have to shove snow in spring but you have to mow the lawn, which one you prefer?

I need to do a big change!

There were a lot of challenges for me to come and live in America. :
Leaving family, friends and a great job. I made a big decision and I hope it works!
What i have faced here? :
Firstly, I had to spend time at apartment alone a few days after i got to America. I cried while my husband was leaving to work. i dint use to with being at home, i used to work in the office everyday in Bangkok. Besides, this country is new for me. I couldn't go anywhere, we dint have the 2nd car. The neighbors downstairs were very mean. I couldn't flush the toilet or clean the room even the day time. If i did, they would knock my floor which was their celling. I dint know anybody.

Secondly,How to greet and talk to people in their way : Even i can speak English and i m not afraid to talk to people but i had a difficulty and had to work on my accent. Some people were being patient with me, tried to understand.

Thirdly, we needed to work on my visa-social security number and my green card. Luckily, we had a good preparation from Thailand and from my husband. Even we had to go many places and filled a lot of forms but finally i got my green card since the first 7 months i got here.

Seeing Snow at 1st time

Snow

I came from Thailand so i had never seen snow in my life. The first time when i got out from the airport Manchester New Hampshire I asked my husband "Is that snow?"
People tried to avoid the snow but i wanted to touch so then i can call my parents and say 'hey mom, i have seen the snow'....
